PURPOSE:To enable a rear wheel steering mechanism to be effectively protected from springing stones and contact or the like with the surface of the ground, by providing the rear wheel steering mechanism to be arranged behind a rear wheel differential gear, in the case of a four-wheel steering device in which the rear wheel steering mechanism is controlled in accordance with a steered amount of front wheels. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a four-wheel steering device equipped with a front wheel steering mechanism steering right and left front wheels by steering a handle and a rear wheel steering mechanism 20 steering right and left rear wheels in accordance with a steered amount of the front wheels, the four-wheel steering device provides the rear wheel steering mechanism 20 to be arranged in a position diagonally upper behind a rear wheel differential gear 50. And this rear wheel steering mechanism 20 is supported to a cross member 60, provided being arranged in a car width direction in the bottom surface of a floor panel 68a, through a mounting member 67. While the steering device, guiding a connection shaft 29 from the front wheel steering mechanism to pass through the upper of a floor panel 68 in the central part of a car body thereafter to protrude into the bottom of the floor panel 68a in the rear part of the car body, extends the connection shaft 29 existing in a recessed part 64b in the upper surface of a fuel tank 64 and being connected to an input shaft 30 of the rear wheel steering mechanism 20. |
