The heat treatment is executed to the copper alloy under the conditions within the area surrounded by the lines of A B C D expressed by y=285+40/(x+0.15), y=404-11.6x, y=338+74.88/(x-0.6), y=470, more preferably under the conditions within the area surrounded by the lines of E F G H I expressed by y=290+80/(x+0.2), y=320, y=403-20x, y=325+80/(x+0.1), y=460 on a graph where the x axis denotes the treatment time (by min) and the y axis denotes the treatment temp. (by deg.C) while giving it the tensile stress of 3-40kgf/mm<2>. By this method, the products having good dimensional accuracy is obtd. at low cost in a good yield impairing the formability.
