PURPOSE:To improve the usage of the stopper in the caption by providing a stopper which is so constructed as to support a pair of rollers for holding a seat belt in cooperation with each other pivotally on the lower part of two frames having a U-shaped cross-section which are pivotally supported on an upper common shaft, and enabling the stopper to be detachably fitted to a hook supporter on the vehicle body side. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 6 is detachably supported on a hook supporter 2 pivotally supported 3 on the column 1 of a vehicle body through a suspending portion 4 and a crank 5, and two U-shaped frames 7, 8 of the stopper 6 are overlapped oppositely to each other. The U-shaped frames 7, 8 are rotatably joined to a shaft supporting portion 10 thereabove so as to be mutually urged inward by means of a spring 11. And further, on the other end portion sides of the respective U-shaped frames 7, 8, a pair of rollers 14, 15 are pivotally supported 12, 13, respectively, and ratchet type reversion preventing device 16 is provided in the middle portion of respective shafts 12, 13. And moreover, the operation of a lever 17 fixed to one U-shaped frame 8 make the rollers 14, 15 separable. |
