发明名称 SUSPENSION DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE
摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate setting of tow-in characteristics, by a method wherein, in a strut type suspension device having an H-type suspension arm, two arm parts, protruded from the car body side, of an arm are disposed longitudinally of a car body, and the one arm part is easily moved longitudinally of a car body. CONSTITUTION:The arm part, on the front side of a car body, of a lower control arm 22 is formed with a part 22a and a part 22e, and the part 22a is rotatably joined with the part 22e by means of a pin. In rigidity in the longitudinal direction of a car body of rubber bushes 34 and 36 of bearing parts 22c and 22d on the wheel side, the rigidity of the bush 34 on the front side of the car body is set to a value higher than that of the bush 36 on the rear side of the car body. This constitution reduces rigidity of the arm part 22a on the front side of the car body, produces a rigidity difference between the bushes, facilitates rearward rotation of the arm part 22a by means of a brake force and rotation of a spindle 32, and enables facilitation of a toe-in change. This constitution facilitates provision of proper toe-in characteristics and permits improvement of running safety.
