PURPOSE:To inform the user of an accurate weight of an item to be measured and prevent forgetting that 'a scale' is being used by a method wherein a system is constructed such that after 'a scale' key is inputted, an alarm buzzer is sounded after leaving the inputted key as it is for a specified period of time and the system is returned to its previous '0' or 'clock' display condition. CONSTITUTION:A mounting tray 20 for mounting an item 21 to be heated, a heating chamber 19 and a heating means 24 are provided. Q control part 18 for controlling an electrical supplying for the heating means, a weight sensor 22 for detecting weights of the heated item 21 and of the mounting tray 20 and a memory 23 for storing the weights are provided and further a display means for displaying weights detected by the weight sensor when an information is inputted to display the weights is also provided. When the system is left as in its 'scale' mode, an alarm buzzer is sounded and the system is returned to either '0' state or 'a clock' mode, so that a user is notified of this state. Then, irrespective of a state of temperature within the heating chamber, an accurate value is always indicated when the display of the weights is being carried out.
