PURPOSE:To enable the easy displacement and positioning of a heavy workpiece or the like, by providing a compressed air ejection mechanism under a sliding unit to float and move it over a base. CONSTITUTION:A sliding groove 2 is provided on the top of a base 1 so that the lower protrusion 13 of a sliding unit 8 can slide in the sliding groove. An air hole 14 is provided in the protrusion 13. One end of the air hole 14 is connected to an air source and the other end is shut by a plug 15. Numerous nozzles 17 extend down from the air hole 14. A similar construction is provided on the top of the sliding unit 8 and the bottom of another sliding unit 16 to enable movement in perpendicular directions. A workpiece or the like is fitted on the top of the sliding unit 16. |
