发明名称 VIBRATION DAMPER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To generate a large damping force without requiring a large mass by providing an orifice at a bulkhead supported elastically at a piston rod, and a small diametered fluid passage connecting fluid chambers in a cylinder on both sides of the bulkhead. CONSTITUTION:In case of a piston rod 12 being displaced relatively to a cylinder 1 following the relative displacement between a car wheel support member and a car body, fluid circulates in fluid chambers 4a, 4b through an orifice 9 at a bulkhead 5 supported elastically by a spring plate 6 and generates damping force, when the relative displacement is slow and also an amplitude is large. On the other hand, when the relative displacement is rapid and also the amplitude is small, the orifice 9 at the bulkhead 5 falls into the state of being blockaded, and damping force is generated against the vibration of a specific frequency by the resonance phenomenon of a vibration system by means of a small diameter fluid passage 8 connecting both fluid chambers 4a, 4b with each other. Thus, a large damping force can be generated without requiring a large mass as compared with a dynamic damper.</p>
