PURPOSE:To always make the leading edge of the picture to be formed next settable at a prescribed leading edge position of a picture pitch, by setting the diameter of the main driving roller of a main driving device so that the picture carrying distance in the unit of prescribed one picture of a film can become integral times as long as the step carrying distance which is equal to the moving distance by one step of a stepping motor. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of a main driving roller 31 is set in such a way that the picture carrying distance in the unit of prescribed one picture of a film 11 can become integral times as long as the step carrying distance which is equal to the moving distance by one step of a stepping motor. Therefore, when the stepping motor stops after the film 11 is carried by a prescribed quantity, certain one rotor pair is always at a position where the rotors and stators pull against each other and the rotors are set to stable states and carrying of the film 11 of a prescribed quantity cannot be completed when any one of rotor pairs is at the middle of one step. Accordingly, movement of a rotor 31 to a stable position in the forward or backward direction after carrying the film 11 by a prescribed quantity can be eliminated and the leading edge of the next picture is always set at the prescribed leading edge position of a picture pitch.
