PURPOSE:To ensure energy efficiency of total system to maximum, by observing the change of the energy efficiency with the current command value fluctuated in a steady operation. CONSTITUTION:The input power in an input power detection circuit 46 and output power in an output power detection circuit 50 are inputted into an energy efficiency arithmetic circuit 52 and the operated energy efficiency is inputted into a comparison circuit 54, where its variation is detected. A command correction circuit 58 changes torque current command value and exciting current command value with the product of both values kept constant so that the energy efficiency of system may be the miximum, when the circuit 58 receives the signal from a flux command circuit 56 to the effect that the values of torque command and rotating speed are in the steady operation unchanged for more than a designated time. |
