<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inexpensive ink, containing a specific rosin- modified phenolic resin as a varnish component and having greasing resistance and excellent gloss and preservation stability. CONSTITUTION:The aimed ink containing a rosin-modified phenolic resin (preferably >=120 deg.C melting point measured by a capillary method) obtained by reacting rosin (derivative) with a phenolic resin in the presence of an acidic catalyst so as to provide <=50 acid value as a varnish component. An organopolysiloxane is preferably further added. The amount of the phenolic resin in the rosin- modified phenolic resin is 20-70wt.% and the ratio of the phenolic OH groups/ COOH groups is preferably 1.0/1.0-2.5/1.0.</p> |
