PURPOSE:To make setting operations of an initialized picture more efficient, by inputting the initialized picture after dividing the picture in accordance the inputting form, outputting form, and outputting extent. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 3 is provided with a line trace editing section 8 and the section 8 divides a trace editing content into plural stages in accordance with the trace inputting form, trace outputting form, and outputting extent at the time of trace output. Then the section 8 displays the initialized picture corresponding to each stage plural times and executes trace initialization in a divided state. Therefore, since inputting operations can be omitted to unchanged detailed groups when the line trace output is again requested, set value inputting operations of the operator can be reduced and the diagnostic maintenance woks of a terminal can be made more efficient.
