PURPOSE:To obtain an optical pickup suitable for mass production, by superpos ing a focusing coil and a tracking coil formed on an insulating film as conduc tive patterns, fixing them on a lens holder, and fixing a terminal on a base. CONSTITUTION:The tracking coil 15, the focusing coil 21, and the terminal 17, etc., are molded integrally. Those coils 15 and 21 are bonded with an insulating bonding agent so as to accord the apexes 1-0 of the base film 16 of the tracking coil 15 with the apexes 1'-0' of the base film 22 of the focusing coil 21, respectively. The coil integrated in such way is bonded and fixed on the upper plane 13 of the lens holder 2 so as to accord the points (p-u), (j), and (k) of the coil with the points (p''-u'), (j'), and (k') of the lens holder 2. In such a way, the coils 15 and 21 and the terminal 17 are segmented integrally from a sheet of base film 16, and hereafter, since only work to bond those coils 15 and 21 and the terminal 17 is required, the manufacture of an optical pickup can be simplified remarkably.
