PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting management of a gap between a fixed transformer and a rotary transformer and to lower cost, by applying prescribed pre-load exactly on a ball bearing. CONSTITUTION:Since the inner ring of a bearing 17 is pressed to a boss 26 side by the pressure of a spring 18, the rotation of a rotary shaft 2 is transferred to the inner ring. The rotary shaft 2 is pressed to a transformer board 4 by an attractive force in a direction of the rotary shaft 2 operating between a rotor 21 and a stator 22, and a state is generated where the outer ring of a bearing 16 and the rotary shaft 2 are barrel-abutted with a ball, then, space in axial and radial directions between them are eliminated. When the cavity between the bearings 16 and 17 and the rotary shaft 2 is eliminated, a relative position between the rotary shaft 2 and a fixed cylinder 1 is fixed. In such a way, it is possible to decide the pre-load of the bearing 16 exactly by the attractive force, and since the transformer board 4 is fixed after deciding the positions of the rotary shaft 2 and the fixed cylinder 1 with high accuracy, it is possible to perform the setting management of the gap deltaa between the rotary transformer 5 and the fixed transformer 6 easily, and to lower the cost.
