摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the yield of a product and to reduce the cost by forming the annular projecting part having an outer tapered face at both ends of the assembly member having larger Young's modulus than that of a shaft and fixing the assembly member to the shaft with the punch having large inner tapered face. CONSTITUTION:The member 20 assembled to a shaft 10 is formed by the material having larger Young's modulus than that of the shaft 10 and the inner diameter of its center hole 20a is set slightly larger than the outer diameter of the shaft 10. The annular projecting part 23 having an outer tapered face 23a is formed integrally with a metal part 21 on the end of the member 20, which is assembled at the necessary position of the shaft 10 to execute calking with the punch 30 having the inner tapered face 30a formed at larger angle than that of the tapered face 23a from both sides. In this case, the annular projecting part 23 is subjected to plastic deformation and the member 20 and shaft 10 are strongly fixed. Since the pressure of the punch 30 may be small, the breakdown of the member 20 is prevented, the product yield is improved and the production cost is reduced as well.
