PURPOSE:To eliminate need of a relief valve, increase the degree of freedom of design, and reduce the cost of titled system by providing a fixed restrictor in a cooling passage for leading to an oil cooler a part of lubricating oil flowing from an oil pump to an oil filter. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil in an oil pan 57 is sucked by an oil pump 59, and this lubricating oil is supplied to each lubricating part 62 through an oil filter 61, while part of lubricating oil flowing from the oil pump 59 to an oil filter 61 is led to an oil cooler 65 through a cooling passage 63. The cooling passage 63 is provided with a fixed restrictor 71 instead of a relief valve, so even when the temperature of lubricating oil is low, lubricating oil is constantly flowing from the fixed restrictor to the oil cooler 65 in a quantity corresponding to the temperature of the lubricating oil.
