PURPOSE:To prevent the water content of a circulating ink from being raised, by blowing dehumidified air to the surface of a specified roller in an arch of an inking arrangement, and sending the water content of an ink contained in an ink tank and the temperature of the surface of the roller to a calculating controller to control the quantity of dehumidified air. CONSTITUTION:Nozzles 11 and 11' are directed to a doctor roller 4 and a transfer roller 3 in an arch of an inking arrangement, and dehumidified air is blown through a line 16 by a blower 12. An ink water content sensor 17 is disposed in an ink tank 1a, and the water content of an ink is measured from variations in electrostatic capacity by a water content meter 18. Further, the temperature of the surface of the transfer roller 3 is measured by an IR thermometer 14 or the like, and a water content signal and a temperature signal are sent to a calculating controller 15 to adjust the opening of a control valve 13, thereby controlling the quantity of air being blown.
