PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of punching a lithium sheet with a cutter and a knockout jig to a specified shape. CONSTITUTION:A carrier plate 1, the knockout jig 3, a lithium sheet press jig 4, which are all made of polypropylene etc., are arranged and a cutter 5 made of SUS, etc., is arranged above the hole B of the jig 4 so that it can freely move vertically. A lithium sheet 2 is sent to a cutting position A on the carrier plate 1 and the sheet 2 is pushed by the press jig 4 into the carrier plate 1. Then, a circular plate 5 is dropped into the hole B to cut the sheet 2 in a circular form. Then, the knockout jig 3 is sent up from the bottom to punch the sheet 2 completely. Since the lithium sheet 2 can be easily punched by a jig of such a simple structure, the cost of punching is drastically reduced.
