PURPOSE:To improve efficiency by using a permanent magnet as one magnetic pole section of a field system and employing a position directly facing all armature in a yoke as the other magnetic pole section of the field system. CONSTITUTION:A DC brushless motor 1 has a stator 2 and a rotatably disposed armature 3. The stator 2 has one permanent magnet 4 having an arcuate section and a cylindrical yoke 5, and consists of a large arcuate section 5a on the back side of the permanent magnet 4, a small arcuate section 5b directly facing the armature 3 on the side opposed to the magnet 4, and a connecting section 5c. The permanent magnet 4 is used as one magnetic pole section of a field system while the small arcuate section 5b of the yoke 5 is employed as the other magnetic pole section of the field system. The yoke 5 functions as a motor case in combination. The armature 3 has a core 7 on which a coil 8 is wound, and is supplied with electric power through a brush and a commutator. Accordingly, the yoke 5 can be manufactured through press molding using a mold, thus improving dimensional accuracy.
