PURPOSE:To avoid disabled communication due to the busy state of a station to be requested by adding a function of relay multiple address request to a polling function given from a receiver side facsimile equipment applying polling to a sender side facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:A function of relay multiple address request is provided to a polling function of a facsimile FAX-B being a requested station, the state that the communication is disabled because the facsimile equipment FAX-B being the requested station is busy is avoided when the sender side facsimile equipment FAX-A having a document (a) to be sent by polling calls the receiver side facsimile equipment FAX-B being the requested station and the data is sent from the facsimile equipment FAX-B to facsimile equipments FAX-C, D, E being request stations.
