PURPOSE:To prevent scorching of a top plate by providing it with a control circuit to receive a signal detected at a temperature detecting means and a cooling means to cool the top plate receiving the output signal. CONSTITUTION:With a subject matter 6 on the surface of a top plate 1, the switch of an induction heating device 2 is put on to actuate the induction heating device 2, with lines of magnetic force generated form an induction heating coil 7 in the induction heating device 2 start heating the subject matter 6, and heat is duly conveyed to the top plate 1 by heat conductivity. At this time, a temperature detecting means 3 detects the temperature of the top plate 1, and a detection signal is received by a control circuit 4, so as to supply a drive signal to a cooling means 5 when the temperature of the top plate 1 rises over a certain temperature for preventing temperature rise of the top plate 1 by actuating the cooling means 5. Thus prevents scorching of the top plate if a preliminarily heated pot is put on the top surface of the top plate 1. |
