PURPOSE:To receive a data completely even in using a facsimile equipment using a long original at the sender side and a facsimile equipment using cut- paper by the receiver side by recording the end of a 1st recording paper at the receiver side again to the start of a 2nd recording paper in receiving a transmission original written on a long original paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:A reception data count section 6 receives a reception data, and counts the page number as to which page the data corresponds to the cut paper sheets and stores the result to a page storage section 11 in a CPU 10. When the content of the page storage section 11 indicates '2' or over, a print control section 13 traces back the read address of a picture data read section after the print of the 1st cut paper from the address stored in an end address storage section 14 by the address stored in the overlap storage section 12, reads the data from the resulting address and sends the data to a picture data print section 8, where the data is printed out.
