PURPOSE:To commonly use data, average working states of apparatuses, and solve useless waiting time, by establishing data links among all or some of office word processors, electronic developing type printers, digital copying machines, optical disk devices, and printer managing devices by using a standardized facsimile communication procedure. CONSTITUTION:Data links are established among the same kind of machines or different kinds of machines of office word processors, electronic developing type printers, digital copying machines, optical disk devices, and printer managing devices by means of a facsimile communication means 1 provided with a computer section 21, MODEM section 3, band compressing section 4, and telephone set section 5 which is prepared in such a way that facsimile communication lines above at least groups III can be established with other facsimile devices by means of a communication procedure standardized for document transmitting facsimile devices in a public telephone line network 12. As a result, data can be used commonly among the same kind of machines or different kinds of machines and an already installed private telephone line network can be used.
