PURPOSE:To certainly hold a sample regardless of the size, thickness and wt. of the sample, by mounting a support plate to a mount state in a freely slidable and fixable manner and mounting the sample to said support plate to press and hold the same to the mount plate by a holding plate. CONSTITUTION:A hole part 42 permitting the passage of measuring sample light is formed to the central part of a mount plate 20 and scales 43 showing the distance from the center of the hole part 42 are formed to both ends of the hole part 42 in parallel to a support plate 33. For example, when the transmissivity of the center of a sample 29a is ready to measure, one side of the sample 29a is mounted on the support plate 33 and a screw 39 is loosened to raise the support plate 33 along a shaft 37. The scale 25 of a scale plate 44 is matched with a reference line 45 and the screw 39 is tightened to fix the support plate 33 to the mount plate 20. Next, the specimen 29a is slid on the support plate 33 and the end surfaces of the sample 29a on both sides thereof are matched with the positions of 25 of the scales 43. By this method, the center of the sample 29a coincides with that of the hole part 42. Thereafter, an arm 23 and a leaf spring 26 are revolved and the vicinity of the outer peripheral part of the sample 29a is pressed and held to the mount plate 20 by a supporter 30.
