PURPOSE:To speed up the transfer speed of an image forming medium by directly heating said medium holding a toner image, and sufficiently heating the developed toner image with heat coming from the medium until said image reaches to a transfer part. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic latent image is formed on the image forming medium 1 heated by a heating means 4 which is provided on the surface opposite to the toner image forming surface of the medium 1, and the toner image 6 is formed by developing said image with a toner, and then, the developed toner 6 is heated with the heat coming from the medium 1 until the toner reaches the transfer part, and the toner image 6 is transferred to a recording medium 7 with compressed pressure in the transfer part. The developed toner 6 is sufficiently heated until said toner reaches the transfer part, thereby speeding up the transfer speed. |
