PURPOSE:To alleviate a twisting unbalance and to raise a distance measuring accuracy by using parallel 2 channels in a form of combining both channel CT inputs during its operation. CONSTITUTION:A power source 1 is connected to a self-end bus 21, and connected through CBs 51, 52 via self-zone lines 31, 32 to next zone buses 221, 222. The currents of the lines 31, 32 are detected by CTs 61, 62, and the voltage of the bus 21 is detected by a PD 4. The outputs of the CTs 61, 62 are input to a CT input converter 9. The converter compares the outputs of the CTs 61, 62 to regard as that both the channels supply current to the same load when the difference of both fall within a predetermined range to output the average value of both as a current value to distance relays 71, 72. When the difference is a predetermined value or higher, the output from the CT61 is output to the relay 71, and the output from the CT62 is output to the relay 72. The relays 71, 72 rear-protect by the values and the self-terminal bus voltage.
