PURPOSE:To switch an optical path by means of simple constitution and positional control requiring no accuracy by changing the position of incident light upon a single 1st light reflecting face. CONSTITUTION:The titled optical switch has the single 1st light reflecting face 10 inclined from an optical axis and plural 2nd light reflecting faces 11-13 arranged on positions in parallel with the 1st face 10 so as to receive light reflected by the 1st face 10 and having different distances from the 1st face 10 correspondingly to light reflecting positions on the 1st face 10. Since light projected from an optical fiber 1 can be made incident upon an optical fiber 2, 3 or 4 by moving a composite prism 9 having the three 2nd light reflecting face 11-13 correspondingly to the incident positions of light upon the 1st face 10, the optical switch can be functioned as a light changing switch. |
