MANUFACTURE OF PLANE HEATER

摘要

PURPOSE:To simplify handling of a heater element by fixing a base plate of a heater element made of a smooth and meshlike metal foil body on a ground paper making use of paste consisting of low-melting point glass frit and squeegee oil. CONSTITUTION:Paste consisting of glass frit and squeegee oil is printed on a ground paper 1 by means of a silk screen printing method or the like to form an adhesive layer 2 for securing tightness on an insulating substrate. Then, the base plate 3 of a heater element is placed on the adhesive layer 2 to print the paste downward thereon for forming an element coating layer 4. Next, a transcription heater element is dipped in water to peel off the ground paper 1 for transcribing the element on the insulating substrate 5 to be fired so as to volatilize squeegee oil and to stick and fix the heater element 3' to the insulating substrate 5 with an element coating layer 4 made of a low melting point glass frit for obtaining a plane heater. Thereby, handling of the heater element is simplified so as to reduce its defective rate.
