PURPOSE:To obtain a plug body having high sealing characteristic, by abutting an upper side plug against a lower side plug on the side face of a rubber bung and fusing the upper side plug and the lower side plug by charging a ultrasonic vibration. CONSTITUTION:A lower side plug 2 is placed and fixed on a jig 5 and a rubber bung 3 is set on the upper part. A tool horn 4 is lowered and an upper side plug 1 is placed on the rubber bung 3 and the lower side plug 2. A connecting projection 15 of the upper side plug 1 is brought into contact with a connecting projection 24 of the lower side plug 2. Then, a ultrasonic wave of about 20kHz is charged on the tool horn 4 and the width of the vibration is amplified by means of the tool horn 4 to transmit the ultrasonic amplification to the upper side plug 1. Heat is thereby generated on the mutual contacted face between the connecting projection 15 of the upper side plug and the connecting projection 24 of the lower side plug. The ultrasonic wave is charged until the contacted face of a plastic molten fuses by the pressure of the tool horn 4. Then, after the fusion is completed by cooling, the tool horn 4 is removed and the product is taken out of the jig 5. |
