PURPOSE:To fractionally measure fragmented fibronectin and non-fragmented fibronectin, by using an antibody confirming the same fibronectin fragment but different in an antigen confirming area as a constitutional component. CONSTITUTION:A fibronectin (FN) reagent is prepared by using an antigen, which confirms the same FN fragment in the measurement of non-fragmented fibronectin (nFN) and fragmented fibronectin (fFN) contained in a specimen to be examined, as a constitutional component. As this antibody, one confirming fragments having molecular wts. of 22K, 24K, 105K formed when FN is decomposed by thermolysin is used and set as a monoclonal antibody. Further, each of antibodies individually confirming fragments having molecular wts. of 22K, 24K is also contained. By this reagent, fFN and nFN can be fractionally measured.
