PURPOSE:To obtain a compact device by covering at least one part of the outer wall part of an intake passage by another intake passage. CONSTITUTION:An intake passage 6 is branched into a natural intake passage 9 and a supercharge passage 10 on the downstream of an air flow meter 8. Surge tanks 25 and 26 are installed into the natural intake passage 9 and the supercharge passage 10, respectively. The surge tank 26 for supercharge passage is formed so as to be covered from both sides by the surge tank 25 for natural intake passage. Therefore, the device can be made compact by using the wall surface of the surge tank in common.
