PURPOSE:To obtain high conductivity, good light permeability adhesion, and flexibility by coating a specific mixture on a transparent polymer compound substrate then removing a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A mixture made of a substrate-soluble organic solvent, a conductive polymer compound, and a metal oxide or a mixture made of the substrate- soluble organic solvent, the conductive polymer compound, the metal oxide, and a material constituting a transparent polymer compound substrate is coated on the transparent polymer compound substrate, then the solvent is removed. The material constituting the transparent polymer compound substrate is not particularly restricted as far as it has high light permeability and flexibility and it can be made a thin film, e.g., polyester, polystyrene, etc., such as polyethylene terephthalate. A transparent composite conductor having high conductivity and excellent in light permeability, surface uniformity, flexibility, and adhesion is thereby obtained.
