PURPOSE:To double the number of times of scanning on a scan film per second by arranging a polygonal mirror and an optical system between a rotary polygonal mirror and a screen and projecting the light reflected from the rotary polygonal mirror on the screen through the polygonal mirror and the optical system. CONSTITUTION:A laser light L2 which is made incident on and is reflected from a rotary polygonal mirror M1 first scans the surface R1, one of the multisurface reflection mirrors in accordance with the rotation of the rotary polygonal mirror. The laser light reflected from this surface R1 is reflected from the surface K1, one of the multi-surface adjusting mirrors to scan a screen S from a point A to a point B. As the rotary polygonal mirror is farther rotated, the laser light is made incident on a surface R2 of the multi-surface reflection mirrors and passes the reflection surface K2 of the adjusting multi-surface mirrors and the optical system to scan the screen S from the point A to the point B. The laser light incident on the rotary polygonal mirror M1 scans the screen S (m) times if the number of surfaces of the newly introduced multi-surface reflection mirrors is denoted as (m). Therefore, the laser light scans the screen S nXm times during one rotation of the rotary polygonal mirror. Thus, the number of times of scanning of the laser light per second is nXmXf where (f) is the number of times of rotation of the rotary polygonal mirror per second, and this number of times of scanning is (m) times as large as that of the conventional method. |
