PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a screen and thereby make its replacement and internal washing easy by providing a flange on the screen so as to enable it to be mounted and removed on a basket outside a drum and, keeping the clearance between the screen and the basket with a protrusion. CONSTITUTION:After centrifugation, a liquid component is ejected to outside a centrifugal drum 20, and a solid component sticks to the internal peripheral surface of a filter 40 and remains there. Therefore, a rotor 22 is moved to a direction where it is taken out of a basket 21 and the filter 40 is reversed inside out to eject the solid component. After this, bolts 46 which tightens the end of the open side of the basket 21 are loosened to release the pressing of a ferrule 42A for checking and washing the interior of the filter 40. Furthermore, a ferrule 42B on the end of the other side of the filter 40 is loosened to remove the filter 40. Then the ferrule 42A is removed to release the pressing of a flange 45 and a screen 44 is pulled out. |
