PURPOSE:To make mounting a frame memory, a character generator, etc., on LBP side needless, by providing a memory for printing, a write means, and a read-out means for reading image data in the memory for printing by at least a printing speed of a page printer in a personal computer. CONSTITUTION:An inside of a personal computer 1 is composed of a control part 2 for controlling all of a system, a memory 3 for LBP, a write means 4 for writing image in the memory 3 for LBP, a read-out means 5 for reading from the memory 3 for LBP at a speed equal to or faster than the speed of LBP 7, a transfer speed control means 6 for conforming data read out from the memory 3 for LBP to a transfer speed to LBP 7, etc., and a personal computer system is constructed by connecting this personal computer 1 to the LBP 7 having a video interface. A memory for printing can also be used as a frame memory in the personal computer, and a character generator in the personal computer can be utilized as a character generator. Therefore, the personal computer system can be wholly constructed at a low cost. |
