<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the working efficiently of a picking device under centralized control, by moving a picking carrier on which a worker rides, to a predetermined rack in accordance with a request for taking out articles so as to allow the worker to take out the articles. CONSTITUTION:A managing computer 30 receives picking data, and transmits control data in radio-transmission to a transceiver 32 on a picking carrier through a transceiver 31. A carrier controller 24 energizes a picking indicator 25, sorting designation indicators 25, various kinds of switches 33 and the like, and drives a motor 35 by means of a motor drive device 34 so that the carrier 15 on which a worker rides is moved to a picking position along a trackway. Thus, a picking process is carried out step by step in accordance with the picking data. With this arrangement, the transfer of the worker and parallel handling for a plurality of requests for take-out may be carried out with a high degree of efficiency, thereby it is possible to enhance the efficiency of picking work.</p> |
