<p>PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of insulators in a state where the amount of exhaust gas to be treated of a fouling gas chamber by providing an air certain device of push-pull system in a passage communicating from a fouling gas chamber to an insulator chamber. CONSTITUTION:For instance, in an electric dust collector, a fouling gas entering from a gas inlet 6 has dust collected in an electric field between the discharge line 5 of the electric dust collector 1 and a dust collection plate 8 and ejected from a gas outlet 7, a part of the fouling gas ascends through an insulator box 2 to contaminate insulators 3. Therefore, an air curtain 12 is formed in the insulator box 2 by allowing the air compressed by a booster fan 9 to be ejected, thus shielding the ascent of the fouling gas. The air is circulated by the curtain device of push-pull system, and the circulating air is purified by a bag filter 10 by removing the dust therein. As a result, the contamination of the insulators 3 is prevented without increasing a treated gas amount.</p> |
