PURPOSE:To record a call content at every call by providing an automatic answering telephone function and recording the voice of a caller in a magnetic card. CONSTITUTION:Several magnetic cards 4 are set in a card delivery part 6 and a load part 8 is loaded. If a call signal from the caller is detected and message guidance is outputted, the card delivery mechanism 6 starts operating and feeds the cards and a card stopper 7 withdraws underneath. If the edge of the cards 4 are fixed and the voice message from the caller is inputted, the magnetic head 5 shifts while it records the message content on the surfaces of the magnetic cards. The magnetic head 5 operates by the control of a magnetic card read write part 3. With setting several magnetic cards 4 in an answering telephone set and exchanging the magnetic cards 4 at every call unit, the control of every call can be executed and opposite destinations, dates and outlines can be filled in the having called cards required, and the retention of the call is attained.
