<p>PURPOSE:To automatically collectively adjust the tape running system of a VTR within a short time by obtaining an adjustment condition based on the envelope waveform of a reproduced video output. CONSTITUTION:Upon receiving an FM-signal-fetching signal, an envelope detection part 20 executes the fetching of the envelops of FM signals from the VTR 1 continuously for a length equivalent to plural fields. Thus fetched FM signals are quantized by an A/D converter 23, and stored in a fetched storing circuit 24 as envelope waveform data. When the fetching of FM signals in the prescribed quantity equivalent to a prescribed number of fields, an adjustment control circuit 50 processes as programmed the envelope waveform data in quantity equivalent to plural fields stored in the circuit 24, and thus the adjustment conditions for guide rollers on in-side and out-side and for an X-value adjustment screw. In such a way, the tape tuning system of the VTR can be collectively adjusted automatically and within a short time.</p> |
