PURPOSE:To precisely mold respective dividual members in a large shape and to broaden liquid collection area by inserting a filter body stretched with a filter membrane freely detachably into the window part of a lamellate frame having a liquid conduction port to the outside part and forming a filter plate. CONSTITUTION:A filter plate 1 for a flat membrane type separator consists of a frame (a) and filter bodies (b). This frame (a) is formed from synthetic resin into a flat, slender and rectangular shape and window parts 12a-12d are opened and stepped parts 13 are formed on the respective edge parts and a plurality of minute projections 14 are formed on the upper face sides of the edge parts in the lengthwise direction. Further a plurality of liquid conduction openings 3, 4 and an opening 16 for permeated liquid and a discharge port 17 for the concentrate are provided respectively to the upper part and the lower part of the frame (a) and also central openings 15 are provided to the central parts. On the other hand, in the filter bodies (b), filter membranes 9 are wound on the base plates 2, stretched and inserted into the stepped parts 13 of the window parts 12a-12d and fitted with minute projections 14 and the flat membrane type separator is constituted by assembling this unit with a plurality of sheets. By such a way, the filter plate is made broad in liquid collection area and treatment of large volume can be performed.
