PURPOSE:To provide both a facsimile function and a copying function, to reduce the number of components and to contrive the miniaturization of a titled equipment and the reduction of cost by sharing one platen roller for reading an original and for feeding a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 7 and an original feeding roller 19 are respectively provided on the platen roller 8 in opposite positions. A means for feeding the recording paper 15 is provided between the platen roller 8 and the recording head 7, and a means for feeding the original between the platen roller 8 and the original feeding roller 19. A means for reading the picture of an original surface is provided for the feeding line of the original and the picture reading means and the recording head 7 are electrically connected. Furthermore, a reception means from outside is electrically connected to the recording head 7, and a transmission means to outside to the picture reading means. Thus, the facsimile equipment with the copying function in a simple constitution can be obtained, the manufacture cost of the equipment can be reduced, the equipment can be miniaturized and consumption power can be reduced.
