PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrences of a folding line or distortion on a master tape, and to obtain a copy excellent in quality by dividing horizontally the inside chamber of a vertical loop bin with a tape transfer mechanism, and transferring a tape horizontally. CONSTITUTION:The master tape 2 runs in meandering between the inlet 92 and the outlet 93 of the vertical loop bin 14. The loop bin 14 is divided horizontally into plural division by the tape transfer mechanisms 63, 65, and the tape 2 is transferred horizontally. In the mechanisms 63-65, a rotation roller 66 and a drive roller 73 are connected with a belt 57. In such constitution, the tapes 2 are almost horizontally transferred before they are piled in large number of pieces, so the load on the tapes 2 become smaller as well as folding lines or distortions are prevented from occurring. Accordingly, even copying with small tension can be executed without distortion, hence a copy excellent in quality can be obtained.
