PURPOSE:To stack papers uniformly with the front end adjusted to the basic surface by providing a switchover guidance mechanism, that can select the feeding position of the paper on the downstream of the feeding direction of a sending-in mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A smaller size paper discharged from a set of discharge rollers 13, 14 passes through the top side of a switchover gate 33 and its end reaches accurately a front plate 8 as being conveyed with a pair of supplementary conveyor roller 32 holding the paper in between. At this point, the rear end of the paper already being apart from the pair of the supplementary conveyor roller 32, the paper falls between both side plates 18, 27 of a tray 4. On the another hand, is the case of larger size papers, it passes through the underside of the switchover gate 33 by the switchover gate being switchable to the position of a broken line. Consequently, when the front end of the paper reaches and stops at the front plate 8, no inconvenience will occur that the paper will not fall on the tray 4 because the rear end of the paper is held between the pair of supplementary conveyor roller 32. |
