PURPOSE:To decrease image distortions due to lens astigmatism by scanning one of paired optical systems when an uneven surface image is picked up by a TV camera via said paired optical systems. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical lens 61 forming one of paired optical systems 6A and 6B which are orthogonal to each other or the lens 61 and a space filter 62 are moved in the direction orthogonal to the axial center C of the lens 61 together with a photodetector 7 set in parallel to the center C. Thus the lens 61 to be moved forms an image via an area close to the center C. As a result, the vertical (Fig. b) and horizontal (Fig. c) distortions due to the astigmatism of the lens 61 are eliminated when a touch is secured between an input part 35 and a grid-shaped pattern shown by Fig. a. Thus the picture distortions are decreased.
