PURPOSE:To reduce the space of installation by providing such an arrangement that vertical inner and outer cylindrical bodies having article introduction/ delivery openings are arranged concentrically while the inner cylindrical body is rotatable and disposed therein with an elevatable car-gondola, and annular storage boxes each circumferentially sectioned are disposed in multi-stages between the inner and outer cylindrical bodies. CONSTITUTION:Articles are introduced into an article introduction/delivery opening 8c in an inner cylindrical body 8 from an article introduction/delivery opening 4b in an outer cylindrical body 4. Then, the articles are set on a fork- lift in a car-gondola 15 which is then moved to the position of a predetermined stage annular storage box 7. Thereafter, the inner cylindrical body 8 is rotated so as to make a predetermined storage room in the predetermined stage annular storage box 7 face an article instruction/delivery opening in the car-gondola 15. Further, the articles are shifted into a storage room by means of the fork lift. These inner and outer cylindrical bodies are vertically installed by means of an underground bottomed cylindrical wall member 2. With this arrangement, it is possible to aim at reducing the space for installation.
