The invention relates to an emptying device for roof-gutter discharges. Said device exhibits a grating (1), whose shaping is adapted to the inner wall of the roof gutter (3) and is configured in the manner of a lever such that the free lever arm (5) projects over the edge of the roof gutter (3). For actuation, there is provided a pulling cable (7) which is fastened at the free end of the lever arm (5) and by means of which the grating (1), mounted movably on the roof-gutter edge, is pivoted outwards, counter to a spring force (6), and the grating (1) is thus emptied. <IMAGE>
