<p>An anaesthesia device comprises a frame which can be detachably connected to preferably several anaesthesia modules (1), such as vaporizers. In known anaesthesia devices, the elements for mounting and supporting the anaesthesia modules on the frame of the anaesthesia device are associated with the corresponding connections for inlet and outlet of the gaseous media provided and with the valves which ensure free gas flow. The disadvantage of these devices is that the connections and the valves must support the relatively heavy weight of an anaesthesia module, and the resulting requirements entail higher manufacturing costs. In order to reduce manufacturing costs, the mounting elements (4, 6) of the anaesthesia modules (1) are structurally separated from the said connections (18, 20) and may therefore be designed and manufactured in an optimal manner appropriate to their intended use.</p> |
