<p>This invention relates to a plastic cap applied to a container of the type wherein a pressure difference exists between the interior and exterior of the container, and is intended to provide the plastic cap with pressure resistance and sealing property. The plastic cap comprises the structure wherein a top plate and a skirthanging from the periphery of the top plate are molded integrally from a plastic material and there is provided a fastening mechanism for fastening the container to the inner peripheral surface of the skirt, and at least one projection for sealing is disposed at, or near, the inner corner portion between the top plate and the skirt in such a manner as to be positioned at the upper edge or outer peripheral edge of the mouth part of the container across a groove from a receiving seat and to project beyond the surface of the receiving seat as much as a very small gap.</p> |
