A heating device is specified, in which the combustion gases are noise-damped, after passage through a heat exchanger where heat is released from the hot combustion gases to a heat transfer medium, in a waste gas-collecting chamber before passing out of the heating device via a waste-gas outlet connection, in order to achieve quiet operation of such a heating device. It is also possible to dispense with an otherwise customary sound damper located in the waste-gas pipe of the heating device. For the sound damping, sound-insulating material can be arranged in the waste gas-collecting chamber. The sound damping can be effected on the basis of reflection and/or absorption and/or yet further customary methods. |
