The invention relates to a glass corner block which is configured as a hollow block comprising an outer shell (11) and an inner shell (12) which are connected at their border surfaces by a melt (13), the planar, lateral delimiting lines (20, 21) of the inner shell (12) being at an angle of 90@ with respect to one another. The interconnected shells (11, 12) of said glass corner block have a different outer configuration, but the same inner configuration. Advantageously, the outer shell (11) has, in its front, longitudinally running, central region, a pronounced rounded-off portion (17) which merges on both sides into planar side surfaces (18, 19). The side surfaces (18, 19) of the front shell (11) are at an angle of 90@ relative to the respectively bordering side surfaces (20, 21) of the inner shell (12). Furthermore, the inner shell (12) has, in its central, longitudinally running region, a flattened surface (22) in the form of a strip. <IMAGE>
