An elastic tape is made of a Raschel knitwork that keeps latex yarns from unraveling and preserves its elasticity for a longer use. The course is knitted with spandex yarn (1) and nylon yarn (2) into a flat knitwork to be twined with stretched polyester yarn (3) to hold the courses. The spandex yarn (1) is fed at the rate of 80-90 mm/ 480 course under a tensile strength 40-50 g/cm2, the nylon yarn (2) at the rate of 1700-1900 mm/480 course, and the polyester yarn (3) at the rate of 2200-2400 mm/480 course.
